Special release comprised of songs from L'album du Peuple Tome 1-5, re-recorded for France. The CD was released through EMI Music France in Europe on January 28th 2002, exclusively for the French and Swiss market. Francois Perusse specifically mentioned in the news post on his website that this album would not be released in Quebec. It was finally announced later that year that on November 16th 2002, Francois would release L'album Du Peuple Volume 2 in Quebec, at the same time as L'album Pirate.
