In compiling this second 'Early Music' sampler, we have done our best to present as broad a selection as possible from the extensive and ever-growing Chaconne catalogue. Performances range in scale from solo instrumental to orchestral, and in age from Medieval to Classical, each bearing witness to the tremendous vitality of the current 'Early Music' scene, and the enormous talent presently at work in it.
