Live at the Five Spot Discovery!

~ Release by Thelonious Monk feat. John Coltrane (see all versions of this release, 2 available)

Annotation

Urban myth.
Taped by Naima Coltrane, the first pressing of this (or was this already released in the Mosaic set?) had a wrong pitch correction applied to it, and the tracks in the wrong order, which have since been corrected in the disc 4 of the Complete Blue Note box set.

TODO:
(September 11, 1958 - N.Y.)
John Coltrane - tenor. Thelonious Monk - piano. Ahmed Abdul Malik - bass. Roy Haynes - drums.
Liner notes by Lewis Poter @ Howard's place.
