Motor Music (Germany)

Having been a subdivision of PolyGram and Universal Music Group since the start in 1994, Motor Music became independent in 2004 under the condition that UMG kept the contracts with (the major?) artists formerly signed to Motor Music. Hence, current, independent Motor Music can be considered an entirely new label, which is also represented by the respective label codes:
